Canaan Bi-Vocational Worship Pastor Job Posting Canaan Baptist Church is seeking a Bi-Vocational Worship Pastor to lead our blended worship ministry. We are a multigenerational church striving to build Christlike generations. Our worship services are a blend of traditional and contemporary music. We are searching for a Bi-Vocational Worship Pastor who will bring oversight and organization to our worship ministry while serving and supporting the vision and values of Canaan Baptist Church. The candidate is expected to meet the expectations of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Job Details • Sunday Services, Wednesday Rehearsals and Services • Remaining hours as needed for worship coordination, preparation, and special events • Will be expected to worship 15 to 20 hours Job Requirements/Responsibilities • Meet the Biblical expectations of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 • Affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 • Have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ • Shepherd, train, and care for people in the music ministry • Strong communication skills • Oversee musical selection and administration for weekly worship services/rehearsals by preparing music, coordinating instrumentalists and vocalists, and coordinating the worship presentation (slides and placement of slides) • Direct weekly rehearsals, choose instrumentation/music selection in consultation with the lead pastor • Serve as vocalist for worship services Interested candidates should email their resume to worshipsearch@canaanbaptist.net
